School Calendar

The Effie Kokrine Charter School calendar starts a weekly earlier than the school district to incorporate the Alaska Native traditional calendar with a fall subsistence break in September.

Please note: Our calendar is different from the rest of the schools in the district.

2024-2025 Effie Kokrine Charter Calendar

School Start Time

School begins at 9:50 am for high school and the middle school.  Students needing transportation can ride middle school buses to Ryan, Tanana, and Randy Smith and take a shuttle from there to Effie Kokrine. The later school start time ensures that students are more alert and ready for school.
